Academic Requirements

Grading and Marking System Used

The student will receive either a Pass (P), Fail (F), Withdrawal (W), or Incomplete (I) for seminars. Students that meet the attendance requirement will receive a Pass for the final grade.

Satisfactory Progress and Academic Probation

A student earning a PASS in the seminar as the final grade will receive the seminar certificate of completion.

Academic Probation

There is no academic probation policy as the students will receive either a Pass, Fail, Incomplete or Withdrawal.

Incomplete.  An "I" for Incomplete is assigned when all the work of a seminar cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the control of the student.

Under Texas Education Code §132.061(f), a student who is obligated for the full tuition and is withdrawing for an appropriate reason unrelated to the student's academic status may request a grade of "I" for incomplete.  The student may complete the work by the end of the term, or the student can notify the school registrar to request admission into one of the future seminars “of the same title”  for one opportunity to complete the work. The seminar the student selects to complete the work must be the same seminar title in which they were assigned the ‘I’. Additionally, the student has 12 calendar months to enroll in the new seminar. There will be no additional administrative or tuition fees charged for students who exercise this option; however, there may be additional fees for books (if required).  If the student complies to the above and enrolls in the same seminar title at a future date, and the future seminar is discontinued, the student will receive a credit for that class in the amount of the original class tuition cost only (excluding books and any fees). This tuition will apply towards another class.

Withdrawal

A "W" for Withdrawal indicates that the student officially withdrew or was administratively withdrawn from the subject class.  A student with a grade of "W" cannot complete the course of study, and will be issued a refund in accordance with the refund policy outlined.

Fail

A "F" for Fail indicates that the student did not meet the attendance requirement for the seminar AND they did not fall within the above categories of ‘Withdraw’ or ‘Incomplete’. The student will not be issued a refund in this case.

Work and Repeated Seminars

Level Up Training Center does not offer remedial work.  When a seminar is repeated it will be treated as a unique enrollment.
